Placing Orders
Credit card security
We take credit card security and your protection very seriously. Our staff are fully trained and our systems employ the latest anti-fraud measures including third-man checking of customer information. Deliveries are made only to the cardholders registered address and a signature on receipt is required. We also require a landline contact phone number (not a mobile number.) Be assured that we never use this information for marketing purposes or make it available to third parties, it is purely for security arrangements to ensure your card is used with your authority.
Credit / Debit Cards
This website operates a highly secure system for payment of goods online using your credit or debit card in conjunction with HSBC and Protx thereby assuring you that your card details are both fully encrypted and never stored on our machines.
We are also able to take Nochex payments for UK transactions and Paypal for worldwide customers.
Facsimile
If you prefer to place an order by fax, please send details of the items that you wish to purchase and your credit card details using this form. and send it to the number above. We will confirm by email the reciept of your fax order. If you do not hear for any reason, please don't be afraid to call and chase us up, we'll be delighted to hear from you.
Telephone
Please call between the hours shown to place orders. If we are busy the machine may answer you, you can still place an order - please leave your name and number and we will call you back. Be ready to provide your name, contact numbers and address, followed by credit card number, expiry date, authorisation number or sequence number followed by the quantity and description of each item you require. We will call you back with confirmation that the order is accepted and if any item is out of stock.
Snail Mail
Please use this form and send it to us at the address above. We can accept payment by cheque, postal order or credit card. Since we cannot guarantee stock will be available, all mail orders will be dispatched when all items are available unless this is likely to take more than 14 days. A credit for any items not able to be dispatched will be given in full.
Please note that we can only accept payments in GBP Pounds Sterling drawn against a recognised International Bank.
Large / Professional Orders
Please telephone if your order is over £1,000 or you are a professional mountain leader, club or organisation etc. VAT invoice will also be provided.
